LES WEISER (Lead) started his singing career at age 5 in Ashville, North Carolina. Les can’t remember when he wasn’t singing in a chorus, glee club or barbershop quartet. As the leader of his dance band, “The Entertainers,” for over 30 years Les played sax, guitar and sang at venues all over the West. Les’ extensive barbershop experience includes five gold medals with the Masters of Harmony chorus and Lead singer with his quartet, Mutual Fun, 2000 Second Place International Senior Champs and 2001 Far Western District Senior Champs. Les has been an avid barbershop singer since 1980 and has sung in several fine quartets, and in three SPEBSQSA chapters. At a young age 63, he currently sings lead in his senior quartet, "California Crossroads," and baritone with the world champion “Masters of Harmony” chapter, based in Santa Fe Springs. He resides in Glendale, CA.
BUDDY YARNELL (Tenor) started singing with his Dad at age 5 and by the time he was 11, he and his Dad “ Bud “ were together in a quartet in Chicago . After moving to California, Bud and Buddy were in a couple more Quartets – A hobby they both thoroughly enjoyed. Buddy has sung in over 20 Quartets from 16 different Barbershop Chapters. In Buddy’s 55 years of barbershopping, he has three Gold Medals with the “ Masters Of Harmony “, was in the District Champion Quartet “ Lions Share “ and won the Seniors Far Western District Championship in 1998 with “ A Touch Of Class “ which also placed fifth Internationally in 2000 and 2001 . He is currently living in La Habra, CA and is a member of the Fullerton, CA chapter. Buddy is 70 years young, but raring to go in his new "senior quartet," California Crossroads.

LARRY THORPE (Bass) started singing at age 10, and sang his first solo in church at age 11. At age 17 he appeared on the Ted Mack Amateur television show in San Francisco. In 1964, he joined the US Air Force where he continued doing solo work and singing with many different groups. In 1979 he won the world wide Air Training command Talent Show, and then traveled with the Air force “Tops In Blue” show for one tour. At age 63, the baby in the quartet, he is now in his 37th year of the barbershop society. He has served as the musical director for three of the five chapters of which he has been a member. He currently is the bass section leader with the La Jolla, CA “ Pacific Coast Harmony” chapter, and sings bass in his "senior quartet," " California Crossroads." He resides in Poway, CA.
PETE HENSLEY (Baritone) started singing barbershop at age 17 (1951) with three members from his high school choir. Although singing in quartets for the next seven years throughout six years of college, he didn't join a barbershop chapter until after graduation in 1958. He is now in his 50th year in the barbershop society. Throughout the years, he has been a member of nine different barbershop chapters, and sung in over a dozen different quartets. He also performs Christmas music, in Dickens Era costumes, as part of the mixed group called the “ Westminster Carolers.” During the past, he has medalled four times with the Houston Tidelanders' Chorus, won the Far Western District Senior Quartet Championship with "A Touch of Class," and also finished 5th, twice, with them in International competition. He is currently the baritone section leader with the La Jolla, CA barbershop chapter “Pacific Coast Harmony.” At age 73, he is ready to compete again with his new senior quartet, "California Crossroads." He resides in Fallbrook, CA.
